What to expect from your
kitchen remodel

At CDE Construction we take great pride in setting you up with your dream kitchen just as you imagined it. When we first meet we’ll ask you a lot of questions about what you want, and share in great detail about the steps we’ll take to build your kitchen.

While we will focus on building your new kitchen, we will also take very good care of your surrounding home and prepare it for all the dust and tools. When we’re finished, it will look like we were never there, and your kitchen will shine brilliantly.

We’re your partner in upgrading your space. We’ll work along side you and pick all the materials that will make your kitchen unique to you and very efficient and functional for your whole family.

Kitchen Remodel Timeline

The kitchen is the heart of your home. It's important to us that we only make it better and better.

CONSULTATION

At the beginning we sit down with the client and review all of their ideas. We dream with the homeowners and then review the budget, and talk about how we can remodel within the given budget.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Our next step is to bring back renderings and plans. We go through every detail with you and make sure that we have all those must have elements included. This might be the first time you’ll be able to visualize the remodeled space. We continue to work with you to decide exact materials for the remodel, from tile, cabinet material, and counter tops, to floors and paint colors.

DEMOLITION

The plan is set, and it’s out with the old to make room for the new. We remove all of the unwanted material including appliances, cabinets, and walls when necessary and anything else to give our team a clean slate to work from.

CONSTRUCTION

Depending on the complexity of your kitchen remodel this step can take any where from 3 weeks - 8 weeks. But we will confirm that information with you at the beginning of the project so you will know.

CLEAN UP

This is one of the stages of a project that we will take more pride in than your typical remodeling team. Many of them start moving out quickly when the construction is done, but at CDE this is where we really take the time to make sure we remove all dust and dirt so that you’ll be ready to start cooking right away in your new kitchen.

TOUCH-UPS

Yes, we are still double checking everything and making sure your new kitchen is immaculate and exactly as we specified it would be. The paint is perfectly even, and the counters have all been sealed properly, and the surfaces feel exactly as they should.

FINAL WALK-THROUGH

We’ve checked everything out, and this last step is to now showcase your new kitchen to you. You’re ready to get cookin’! We’ll take photos and share big smiles with you as we review all your kitchen dreams that have been brought into reality.

You'll find us to be meticulous in our preparation of a space being remodeled. It's not your whole house being updated after all, and we want to keep the dust and debris contained and allow you to keep using the majority of your home.
